Privacy policy

In effect from 17 September 2026.

This site stores only what it needs to show you your own chart on another device or after a reload. Everything it collects is listed below, along with how to delete it.

1. Who processes the data

The service is operated by the owner of this site. For anything to do with your data, write to testing300bucks@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

What you type in

Your entries (a date and a balance), the target amount, the target date, the inflation figure and the deposit settings: rate and compounding frequency. We never ask for account numbers, bank names, card details or any other payment information.

Data from signing in with Google

If you sign in with Google, we receive and store: the permanent identifier of your Google account, your email address, your display name and a link to your profile picture. This links your entries to your account and shows who is signed in. Your Google password is never passed to us: the sign-in happens on Google's side over OAuth 2.0.

Using the site without signing in

You can use the site without signing in. In that case, with your consent, a cookie holding a random identifier is written to your browser, and your data is stored on the server under it. Such data is not connected to a name or an email address. If you do not consent, your data lives only in the open page and disappears when you close it.

Technical data

The web server keeps a standard request log: IP address, time, the address requested and the browser version. It is used for finding faults and preventing abuse, and it is not combined with the data you enter.

3. Cookies

savings_sessionA signed session cookie. It holds either your user identifier after signing in with Google, or an anonymous identifier after you press “Allow”. Without it the server cannot store your data. It lasts 180 days and is set only after you sign in or explicitly consent. savings-themeNot a cookie but a localStorage entry in your browser holding the colour theme you chose (light, dark or as in the system). It is never sent to the server. savings-langA cookie holding the language you picked, so the site opens in it next time. It contains nothing but a two-letter code. Advertising cookiesIf Google AdSense is switched on for this site, Google and its partners may use their own cookies to serve and measure ads. See section 6.

4. Why we use the data

We do not sell or pass your data to third parties, do not use it for mailings and do not build profiles from it. It is not used for automated decisions about you.

5. How long we keep it

6. Google AdSense advertising

This site may show advertising through Google AdSense. As a third-party vendor, Google uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's ad settings. How Google uses data from partner sites is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Visitors from countries where consent for advertising cookies is required are shown a separate consent form by Google before any ads appear. Our own “Allow cookies” prompt covers only the storage of your entries and does not include advertising consent.

7. How to delete your data

8. Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, for corrections or for deletion, and you can withdraw cookie consent by clearing cookies in your browser settings. Write to the address in section 1 from the email tied to your account, so that we can be sure the request comes from the person the data belongs to.

9. Security

Data travels over an encrypted https connection. The session cookie is signed with the server's secret key and cannot be forged. Access to the database is limited to the operator of the service. Even so, no method of transmission over the internet is absolutely safe, and we do not recommend entering information whose disclosure would be critical for you.

10. Children

The service is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you learn that a child has given us data, tell us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

If we make substantial changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new version.
